Unfortunately, there are so many sights and beautiful places on this amazing peninsula that the whole year is not enough to visit all these spots. But not need to be worry, we developed a special 12-days tour collected all points of interest!

You can join any date convenient for you and join us!

This is an ideal tour for those who travel to Kamchatka for the first time. It is possible to purchase individual blocks of the program and to form an individual program on their basis according to your preferences.

1 day – Arrival.
2 day – Departure to the Ploskiy Tolbachik volcano area.
3 day – Ascent to the Ploskiy Tolbachik volcano
4 day – Cones of the Northern break, the “Dead Forest” visiting.
5 day – Moving to the river base, preparing for rafting with fishing.
6 day– The beginning of a 3-day rafting along the Bystraya river.
7 day – Continuation of rafting with fishing.
8 day – Finishing the rafting, returning to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
9 day – Departure to Gorely volcano, climbing Gorely volcano.
10 day – Climbing Mutnovsky volcano, returning to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
11 day – Additional day for optional tours.
12 day – Departure.

1 BLOCK: THE PLOSKIY TOLBACHIK VOLCANO AREA

Get on a comfortable off-roader and start our journey through the mysterious places of the Tolbachik volcano eruptions: we will visit the sandy landscapes where the lunar rover was tested, explore the bizarre labyrinths and lava caves trying to find places with still hot lava, and climb the Plosky Tolbachik volcano (3142 meters).

1 day. We leave Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky early in the morning, as we are moving to the middle of Kamchatka. We will see how the climate changes from the southern sea to the continental northern, and also the vegetation changes from the prevalence of bushes and tundra in the area of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky city to impassable coniferous forests in the north, in some places covered with volcanic ashes, to the boundless plains of the middle belt, located between the majestic chains of the mountains of the Eastern and Middle ranges. The road will take all day, along the way we will have lunch in Milkovo village, and dinner will be already in the tent camp at the foot of the volcano.

 2 day. The next day we will climb the Ploskiy Tolbachik volcano. This route is very popular due to its beauty and relative simplicity. Usually the way to the crater and back takes 10-11 hours.

3 day. Calling card of the Tolbachik volcano area is the “Dead Forest”. Just imagine, –  a huge cloud of hot volcanic ash and dust settled on several hectares of the forest and burned out the root system, depriving it of food, the leaves fell off, and the trunks with the branches dried up. This forest has been standing motionless for more than 40 years! At the same time, during the eruption of 1975-1976, out of cracks in the ground, slag discharges formed new volcanic cones of various shapes. All this we can see with our own eyes on the third day of our trip.

4 day. The first part of our journey ends and we move to the river base, from where we will make a 3-day rafting with fishing

2 BLOCK: RAFTING WITH FISHING ON THE BYSTRAYA RIVER

5, 6 days. Kamchatka rivers are world famous for their abundance of fish. This is a real paradise for lovers of fishing. We will go on a trip on inflatable 8 persons rafts and for 3 days we will raft down the river, fish directly from the rafts, taste sashimi from caught salmon, immediately on the run we will prepare delicious delicacy – ikra pyatiminutka (“5 minutes caviar” – freshly cooked caviar from fresh fish). In the evenings, in the tent camp our cooks will show their skills in preparing freshly caught fish in various ways, and of course, you will try a real Kamchatka ukha soup (soup with fish).  This is not like the soup ordered and cooked in restaurants, because the real taste of this fish soup can only be experienced in nature.

7 day. We reel off the fishing rods and return to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. For a week we traveled around Kamchatka and slept in tents, so it’s time to rest, take a hot bath, make room for new photos and charge gadgets for further travel.

3 BLOCK: ASCENT TO THE MUTNOVSKY AND GORELY VOLCANOES

8 day. Have you ever seen a lake right in the volcano crater? No? Then the Gorely volcano is what you need to visit. We’re heading south! There, where Kamchatka gold is mined, to where the largest geothermal power plant in Russia is located, to where the snow does not melt even in the summer. It is not difficult to climb the Gorely volcano, in height of 1829 m, even a child can ascend to it. This is the most popular route of ascent among locals and tourists! Climbing takes 5-6 hours.

Day 9. The Mutnovsky volcano is located nearby. It is famous for its continuous volcanic activity. No, lava is not flowing from its crater 24 hours a day. This volcano, like a large processing plant, hisses, boils, emits clouds of smoke and steam. In its active funnel you can catch a sharp smell of hydrogen sulfide, boiling mud boilers, natural gas outlets. The scale of activity is amazing. Climbing takes 6-7 hours.

10 day. This ends the active part of the program, and you can choose additional excursions from our catalog, such as Helicopter excursion to the Valley of Geysers or to the Kuril Lake, Boat trip along Avacha Bay, etc.

11 day. We stop at the fish market, where you can buy delicious smoked fish, seafood and caviar of the highest quality, and we’ll escort you to the airport.

The tour price includes:

• Double accommodation in a recreation center with breakfast;

Additional Information:

The route or the route schedule can be changed according to the weather conditions, the training level of the group, other external factors. The decision to change the route may be taken by the guide on the place.
